Attendees
Approximately 100 people from the states of Alabama , Florida , Georgia , North Carolina , South Carolina , and Tennessee attended the event, including federal and state legislators, mayors, public- and private-sector representatives, academics, and other community leaders. The simple fact that so many people attended the symposium, and that they represented so many sectors of our communities, was a testament to the timeliness of this discussion.
